We all know that PSP games can be found at great prices today. Especially if you do not mind buying used. Well, Sony wants to encourage the purchase of some more new games for PSP, and decided that the best way is to Dual Packs. Yes, Dual Packs.
That means you get two major PSP releases in one package for $14.99. Not bad, considering the base launch price for many PSP games is between $29.99 and $39.99, with the bargain bin price tending to fall somewhere between $9.99 and $19.99. So to get two new games for $ 15 is just ridiculous. The PlayStation.Blog says they’ll be in stores on UMDs and as downloads on the PlayStation Store before June ends. No matter where you grab them, the price will be the same – $15.
Let’s hope these Dual Packs do well. If they do, maybe we’ll see released. If you’re a new PSP owner who plans to upgrade to the Vita, I suggest going with the PlayStation Store downloadable versions of the Dual Packs. The Vita is only going to be backwards compatible with download PSP games.
