PSN Users Have Donated over $1.6M to Fund the Earthquake Relief in Japan
Since Sony has begun taking donations in mid-March, the North American PSN users have contributed $ 425,000, Europe and other PAL territories have donated $ 877,000, and Asian territories outside of Japan have generated $27,000, with Japan itself providing $296,000.
As a bonus, all users who have donated to relief efforts has also received a custom theme for your PlayStation 3.
Sony said the money will go to relief organizations in each area to help relief efforts underway in Japan. these organizations include the American Red Cross, the British Red Cross, and the Red Feather Community Chest Movement.
